Terms of use
Effective November 1, 2026.
These terms govern your use of the Board, whether you visit the site, call for a lender or buy leads.
Using the Board
BoardFive operates the Board at boardfive.com. By using the site or an account, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Board. Callers also accept the independent contractor terms when they sign up.
What the Board is
The Board is a marketplace. Callers work as independent contractors and call business owners for lenders. Lenders buy leads, order calling and pay bounties when a loan funds. The Board does not make loans, take applications or approve credit. Each lender decides whether to lend.
Accounts
Give accurate information and keep your sign-in email secure. You answer for activity under your account. Tell us at market@boardfive.com if someone else may have access.
You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract.
Rules for everyone
- Follow the law, including telemarketing, do-not-call and call recording rules.
- Use the Board for business-purpose commercial loans only.
- Contact borrowers through the Board's dialer and email tools.
- Do not quote rates, promise approvals or misstate who you represent.
- Do not copy, scrape or resell lead data outside the Board.
- Do not interfere with the service or try to reach data that is not yours.
Lenders
A lender pays the prices and fees shown before a purchase or order. Prepaid credits pay for purchases on the Board. A lead sold as shared can go to more than one lender, up to the cap shown. An exclusive lead goes to one lender.
A lender stays responsible for its loans, its licenses, its calling instructions and how its staff use lead data. A lender must honor do-not-contact requests.
Leads from the Board are for use through the Board. A lender that closes a loan with a lead it received from the Board, without paying for that lead, owes the Board the lead price and the fee, and the Board may suspend the account.
Before a purchase, a lender may write to a lead only through the Board's introduction tool. The Board sends the message by email, keeps a copy and shows the lender no name, phone number or email address. A lender must not ask for, offer or pass contact details or links in an introduction, and must not contact a lead outside the Board before it buys the lead. The Board blocks such messages and logs the attempt. Staff read every introduction. A lender that adds a lead it first met through the Board without buying it owes the lead price, and the Board may suspend the account. A purchase ends the masking and the lender receives the contact details. The Board marks a lead as qualified when its callers confirmed the borrower's interest, business purpose, property, loan amount, timeline and experience. The Board makes no promise that a qualified lead will apply or fund.
A lender may ask for a refund within the refund window shown in its account if a loan from a purchased lead falls through. The lender sends a reason and documents that show it. The Board verifies the documents and decides. An approved refund returns to the lender as account credit. A funded loan is not refundable.
Callers
The independent contractor terms set out how callers work, how bounties are earned and when a payout is forfeited. Payouts run through Stripe and need a completed tax form and bank account.
Calls and recordings
The Board records calls and keeps email text. Callers give the recording notice on each call. Using the Board means you accept this recording.
Monitoring and response times
The Board assigns phone numbers and email addresses to callers and lenders. It monitors calls, voicemail and email on them to keep service quality high. Messages left on a line are stored and reviewed. When a voicemail or a borrower email goes unanswered past the response limit, the Board sends a warning and may tell the lender and platform staff.
Response limits appear in your account. Working time runs 8am to 9pm in the lender's time zone. Repeated slow responses can lead to a lost number, lost leads or a suspended account.
Content you add
You keep ownership of what you add. You give the Board permission to store, display and use it to run the service, including showing it to the lenders and callers who need it. You promise you have the right to add it.
Our property
The Board, its software, text and design belong to BoardFive. You may use the Board as these terms allow and no further.
No guarantees
The Board comes as is. We do not promise uninterrupted service, a number of leads, a loan outcome or any income. AI scores and summaries are aids for human review and may contain errors.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, BoardFive is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profit or lost data. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid the Board in the three months before the claim.
Ending access
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or the law, or to protect the service. Terms that by nature continue, such as ownership, limits on liability and unpaid amounts, continue after access ends.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will post the new date here. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Write to market@boardfive.com with any question.
